There was an earthquake in Ludlow, California, a nice, previously earthquake unfriendly place. Of course, the biggest fear is that this is only the predecessor to the next "big one", which is going to happen sometime, but nobody really knows. There have been small quakes, even though this one was 5.5, all around California for ages and it is not going to stop now just because someone fears the major one is coming.
Whatever.
I know that my friend said he lived through one major one when he was four and he turned out alright so it's no biggie.
